Climate action starts at home. We’re launching the Canada Greener Homes Grant to lower Canadians’ energy bills, create jobs, and cut pollution.
The Canada Greener Homes Grant offers up to $5,000 to homeowners for home upgrades that will make their homes more energy-efficient, and up to $600 towards the cost of home evaluations.
The Canada Greener Homes Grant will create more than 110,000 direct and indirect jobs across Canada over the next seven years, in addition to the recruitment of 2,000 energy advisors that is currently underway to meet the increased demand for home evaluations.
Home retrofits mean lower energy bills, more jobs, and less pollution. With the Canada Greener Homes Grant, Canadians can lead the way by taking part in net-zero solutions.
Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Cartier terminus to explore the STL's new electric bus fleet. This was made possible with investments by the federal government, which is part of our Canada-wide plan to bolster a greener future.

Game 7
Wishing the best of luck to the Canadiens for a big Game 7 today. We were counted out before the series even started, but we continued to power through in the face of adversity.
Saturday night's Game 6 was the first major sporting event in Canada to have fans since March 2020. The game served as a testament of the sacrifice made by Canadians during this pandemic. We are finally starting to return to normal life, and we have to keep following public health guidelines and getting vaccinated to continue to regain our lives.
Let's get a big win tonight and move on to the second round against Winnipeg.
