COVID-19 Vaccines
Vaccination is the most effective tool we have in the fight against COVID-19. While almost 90% of Canada's eligible population has been fully vaccinated, it is up to all of us to do our part and get the shot so we can end this pandemic.

Laval Vaccine Rollout

Vaccination against COVID-19 is currently open to all people over the age of 12. To get vaccinated, book an appointment at https://portal3.clicsante.ca/ or visit Laval's permanent walk-in clinic at Place Sports Experts, 4855, rue Lois-B.-Mayer, Laval. Walk-in clinics can provide the 1st and the 2nd dose of the vaccine depending on vaccine availability.  Be sure to wait at least 8 weeks after your first dose of the vaccine before receiving your second dose.

A mobile vaccination clinic is also providing 1st and 2nd doses of the vaccine. Click here for the mobile vaccination clinic's location and hours of operation in Laval

While vaccination is essential, please remember that we must continue to do our part in limiting the spread of COVID-19. Please continue to wear a mask or face covering, practice physical distancing where necessary and stay home if you are feeling unwell.

COVID-19 Vaccination Passports and Mandates

Quebec's vaccination passport is required for people aged 13 and up to be admitted to certain places and non-essential activities. Click here for a list of places and activities that currently require a COVID-19 vaccination passport in Quebec.

In addition to displaying the QR code on your vaccine passport, a photo ID will be required for all persons over the age of 16 wherever a vaccine passport is required. Your vaccination passport may be presented in the following formats:
  • On the VaxiCode application
  • On paper
  • In a PDF on your mobile device

Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements for federally regulated transportation employees and travellers

To protect travellers and employees in the transportation sector, the Government of Canada has implemented a mandatory proof of vaccination requirements on federally regulated forms of transportation.

Effective October 30, travellers departing from Canadian airports, marine travellers, and travellers on VIA Rail and Rocky Mountaineer trains, will be required to be fully vaccinated in order to travel. To allow travellers time to become fully vaccinated, there will be a short transition period where they will be able to travel if they show a valid COVID-19 molecular test within 72 hours of travel as an alternative to providing proof of full vaccination. If travellers have not already started the vaccination process, or do not start soon, they risk not qualifying for travel as of November 30.

As of October 30, the Government of Canada will also require employers in the federally regulated air, rail, and marine transportation sectors to establish vaccination policies for their employees which will involve mandatory vaccination requirements for employees.

For those who falsify information or otherwise fail to comply, there will be serious consequences, including monetary penalties.
